The first ever Cirque du Cyclisme Cyclosportive Ride is set to launch on Saturday, June 9 in Leesburg, VA, just 45 minutes' drive from Washington, D.C.. Held in conjunction with Le Cirque du Cyclisme vintage bicycle show, the Cirque Sportive will celebrate the history, quaint villages and lush scenery of beautiful Loudoun County, VA. There are three routes of 30, 60 and 100-mile lengths being offered, and the rides will each cover about 60-70% of the total length on gravel roads.

There's no need to ride a vintage bike for this event that is based on Italy's famed L'Eroica vintage show and sportive, but we certainly encourage it! With the challenging courses on offer, there are some equipment recommendations that you'll want to follow. Specific information is available by navigating the left-hand menu options.

Be sure to bring the family along and visit the many activities offered at Le Cirque du Cyclisme show, held at the Best Western Hotel in downtown Leesburg from Friday, June 8 through Sunday, June 10. If you register for events held at the show, you'll receive a $5 discount code for the Sportive registration.
